CJ: Transaction ID formatting changing 11/1/2014

The Transaction ID is CJ PayPerCall’s globally unique identifier for transactions and is available in CJ PayPerCall Reporting, the Transactions API, and post-call webhooks.

Currently, the Transaction ID is an 11-character string, for example: “29810-95701″

Please note: As of 11/1/2014, the CJ PayPerCall Transaction ID (transaction_id) format will be updated with the following changes:

  • Up to 32-character string
  • Can contain alphanumeric characters “0-9″, “A-Z”, and “-“

What does this mean to you?

If you have any existing integrations that leverage the Transaction ID, ensure that you are able to accept the new format.

Linkshare Update: New Minimum Payout

Thank you for being a loyal Publisher in our network. To streamline our publisher payment process, Rakuten LinkShare is revising its minimum payout amount effective August 11, 2014 for publishers.

Beginning August 11, the new minimum will be 50 USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, BRL and AUD per network for both check and direct deposit (ACH) payments. But, if you do not meet the threshold at the end of the calendar year, don’t worry! We will send you a check or direct deposit of your annual balance by March 31 of the following year.

Why is CouponNetwork shutting down?

The decision to shut down CouponNetwork.com wasn’t easy and we are thankful to have had the opportunity to provide valuable savings to you through CouponNetwork.com! Our parent corp, Catalina, has provided savings at checkout in retailers throughout the world for over 25 years. We’ve decided to focus exclusively on growing that in-store presence and expanding into online and mobile – all in partnership with our retailers to provide valuable savings to you.

What about current coupons?

All printed coupons will remain valid until the expiration date printed on the coupon. Feel free to print away between now and Dec 11th!

An update on Google Affiliate Network

Our goal with Google Affiliate Network has been to help advertisers and publishers improve their performance across the affiliate ecosystem. Cost-per-action (CPA) marketing has rapidly evolved in the last few years, and we’ve invested significantly in CPA tools like Product Listing Ads, remarketing and Conversion Optimizer. We’re constantly evaluating our products to ensure that we’re focused on the services that will have the biggest impact for our advertisers and publishers.

To that end, we’ve made the difficult decision to retire Google Affiliate Network and focus on other products that are driving great results for clients.

We’ll continue to support our customers as we wind down the product over the next few months. And there are other products that can help you achieve your goals. Affiliate publishers can continue to earn AdSense revenue through the AdSense network. And marketers can take advantage of other CPA-oriented Google tools like Product Listing Ads, remarketing and Conversion Optimizer to drive valuable online sales and conversions. This new name more accurately reflects who we are today. As an eBay company for the past 8 years, we have evolved from our legacy as a comparison shopping site into a robust commerce network.
